We are pained to know that our next
door neighbor and life long friend, Thomas G. WITTEN, had the
misfortune to break his arm above the elbow, by a fall from the head of
his stairs, caused by a misstep, on Sunday morning last. The injury is
likely to confine Mr. WITTEN to his room for some time.
