Misses Alice CHAPMAN and Leola ALDERMAN
spent the holidays in Baltimore.
Capt. and Mrs. J. C. RAWN came up from Bickley's Mills
and spent some days with friends.
Mr. Henry E. HARMAN of the Clinch Valley railroad, was
in town last week from Bickley's Mill.
Mr. Henry SIMMERMAN, of Wytheville, who is interested
in Tazewell property, was in town last week.
Messrs. SIMMERMAN and HARMAN will at
an early day do the finishing work on the interior of their town hall.
Miss Jennie BOWEN, eldest daughter of Major T. P. BOWEN,
has been quite ill of pneumonia for several weeks.
Mr. Jas. ALLEN, a first class collector, has been
appointed a constable for his township in place of S. S. F. HARMAN,
resigned.
