On Monday night last Capt. and Mrs. A.T. WARD were
called to give up their last single daughter. This is the fourth
daughter they have followed to the grave in less then four years. Miss
Mary was a bright and beautiful girl of sixteen summers. She had been a
member of the Presbyterian church three years, and as died her three
sisters, she died at the fullest triumph of faith in Christ. She was
buried last Wed. at 11 o'clock.
At 1 o'clock on the same day a few friends gathered at the home of Mr.
and Mrs. Rees T. BOWEN to witness the marriage of their daughter,
Miss Sallie Lou, to Mr. S.J. THOMPSON. After the ceremony a
bountiful repast was served, after which the happy couple started on a
bridal tour to Hot Springs Ark.
