Mr. John MCHENRY and Miss Rosa BROWN, daughter of Mr. Patton BROWN, both of Richlands, celebrated the holidays by getting married, which they succeeded in doing under difficulties, as Miss BROWN was still at school there was opposition at home to the step. She was at Martha Washington College where the faculty became suspicious of something of the kind and sent for her father. He was bringing her home across country and lost her on the way where they had stopped over night. Mr. MCHENRY however, found her without difficulty and they took the train at this point for Bristol or some other place where parental objection does not count. They were piloted to North Carolina by Mr. John W. SPOTTS where the knot was tied. Mr. and Mrs. MCHENRY passed through for Richlands Monday.
