DEATHS

Mrs. Jacob ROSENHEIM, who was Miss Ava HIGGINBOTHAM, daughter of Mr. J.S.S. HIGGINBOTHAM, of this county, died at her home in Wytheville Tuesday morning. Relatives of the family, including Mr. J.S CHATWELL and his mother, went over on the same day.

Mr. Charles BROWN, son of A.P. BROWN Esq, whose illness had been reported from Graham where he had lived after leaving this place some years ago, died on Sunday last. His body was brought to this place on Monday and buried in the family section of the cemetery.

Mr. Alexander H. MARRS, a well known citizen of Tazewell, died very suddenly Sunday morning last, at his home a few miles east of town. He was on the streets apparently in good health a day or so before and the announcement of his death was very startling. He was a man very diligent in business and possessed of considerable property. His last wife was Miss POBST, whom he leaves with one child. The body was buried in the cemetery Monday afternoon.
