In the death of Mr. J.M. MCGUIRE, at Cedar
Bluff, the county lost one of its best-known citizens. He was a man of
extended popularity and his funeral brought together the largest
concourse of people ever assembled near his home. He was buried with
Masonic honors; a number of Masons from Tazewell lodge will be present.
