MCCALL; of Cedar Bluff, were visiting Mr. H. G. MCCALL

Mr. R. T. BOWEN stopped here at the home of his parents on
Tuesday.
Mr. James HANKINS, who has been taking a vacation in the country
for several weeks, came home on Monday.
Mr. J. F. HURT, the Richlands insurance man, stopped here Tuesday
for a few hours.
Mr. and Mrs. A.D. W. WALTON have returned from an extended trip
to Roanoke.
Deputy Sheriff Jno. W. CROCKETT left for Pocahontas on Wednesday
taking with him Messrs, C.T. PEERY, Ed. BROWN, A. LILLY,
G. L. MCCLINTOCK, Kent DODD and others to protect the
property there in event the striking Elkhorn miners offer to commit
violence.
