Mr. Henry HARMAN is up from Elkhorn.

Messrs. G. W. LAMBERT of Princeton, and Hubert RAVEN and D. KITTS of Richlands, were in town this week.

Miss CLIINE of Pocahontas, accompanied by Miss SHAWN, stopped at the Virginia House on Wednesday.

Mr. Joseph GILLESPIE is having plans and specifications drawn up for a residence to be built soon.

Misses Eva JONES and Sallie SURFACE returned on Monday from a short visit to Bluefield, accompanied by Mr. W. B. F. WHITE.

Mrs. Matilda LYNCH, wife of D. W. LYNCH, Esq. died at her home in Thompson Valley last Tuesday evening and was buried on Wednesday. She leaves five little girls. Mrs. LYNCH was the daughter of Mr. Edward THOMPSON, of Thompson Valley. We sympathizes deeply with the bereaved family.
