Mr. J.A. REPASS visited home folks at Cedar Bluff Sunday.
Mrs. Jennie WARD spent Saturday night with Mrs. Mary BROWN.

ASCUE entertained a number of young people at their home last Friday night, where they tipped the fantastic toe until 3 o'clock in the morning, and after thanking their kind host and hostess for the pleasant evening spent, the following left for their respective homes: Misses Mollie

Mrs. Balfour WHITE, who has been suffering for several days with lagrippe, is not improving.
Blair HARRIS's house was burned last Thursday night with all his furniture, he and family barely escaped.
Jim HARRIS, of the Belfast Mills was at Paint Lick on business last Monday.
H.A. WHITE and family left for their new home at Glade Spring Monday. Mr.
WHITE was a good citizen and we regret very much to see him leave.
