Mrs. J.H. GILLESPIE, of Pembroke, Giles Co. Virginia, is visiting relatives and friends and will remain several days in this neighborhood.
Messrs. HARMAN and CROCKETT were in this neighborhood last week gathering up lambs, for which they are paying satisfactory prices.
What has become of Rattlehead, the Teel Branch correspondent? I fear he has rattled out all he has in his head and cannot find anything to write.
Rev. J.H. GILLESPIE will preach the funeral of Mrs. John HAMBRICK, next Sunday. A large crowd is expected to be present at the time.
G.T. FAULKNER and wife is visiting J. Mosby DAVIS at this time and will remain some days.
Mrs. William BAILEY, whose sickness we mentioned some time ago, still continues quite sick.
