Greever SPURGEON, the fifteen year old son of Samuel SPURGEON, who lives near Five Oaks, was ran over by the east bound passenger train last Saturday evening and killed. He boarded the train at the station, attending to ride a short distance and jump off, and was thrown under the wheels and terribly mangled. Nevertheless, boys will continue to indulge in this hazardous custom, and more of them will be killed.
