Mrs. Robert
BROWN, of Bristol is visiting A. P. BROWN'S family, "Bob" has a
good position with the S. A. & O Railroad with headquarters at Bristol.
W. B. MORTON, of Monroe, has spent two weeks here looking after business
interests.
Benbow - Mr. William CORELL has been spending several days in Giles county lately.
He reports a pleasant time.
A.B. BUCHANAN and family were visiting in Tazewell Sunday.
Mr. and Mrs. G. S. CRABTREE gave their little daughter Susie, a birthday
party last Monday. She had quite a number of little friends present.
Misses Lilly LEECE, Nellie and Eddy LYNCH, were visiting their friend,
Miss Lena CORELL, in Poor Valley Saturday and Sunday.
Mr. Alex WALK who has been at work in West Virginia for several months, spent
Saturday and Sunday at home.
Charles MCCOY and Miss Nannie L. HUBBLE, were married at the home of the
bride, Wednesday evening at 6 o'clock. The attendants were Miss Sophia
HUBBLE and Mr. D. LOCKHART and Mr. Don MCCOY and Miss
SEABOLT. Rev. J.N. HARMAN officiated. After the ceremony a reception was given at the home of
the groom's sister, Mrs. Edgar LOCKHART, on Tazewell Ave.
