THOMPSON'S VALLEY
                

The air was chilled by the hailstorm Sunday evening, but no damages were perceived.

Miss Bennie SMITH, who has been quite ill, is now recovering.

Miss Lonanna THOMPSON is at home on vacation from Jackson's Institute.

Mrs. Ada Witten is spending a few days with her mother, Mrs. J. L. MEREDITH.

Willie HANRAHAN, from Norfolk, is visiting his brother, Rev. G. B. HANRAHAN at his place.

Mrs. A. J. STEELE, from Tazewell, and her daughter, Mrs. Lula May ANDERSON, from Bristol were visiting in the valley last week.

Miss Tillie MOSS is spending several days with her many friends in the Valley.
