Mr. Cecil KELLY, son of Rev. R. A. KELLY, returned to his home here last week, after a profitable session at Trinity College, Durham, N.C.

Samuel C. PEERY, from Washington and Lee is home on Vacation. Prof. Robert HENRY is home also, from Blackstone.

R. A. HARMAN is keeping Bachelor Hall. Mrs. HARMAN and the baby are away.

Contractor BARNETT will build Hon. A. ST. CLAIR'S residence on the Lyons property.

Born to Mr. and Mrs. WALKER on Thursday, the 11th, a fine daughter.

George W. ST. CLAIR is in Lexington attending a meeting of the board of trustees of Washington and Lee University. Mrs. ST. CLAIR and the children are visiting in Staunton.

Mrs. Judge STUART has returned from her visit east, as has also her daughter, Miss Lucy, who has been a student in Richmond the past week.
