James P. PATTON, Giantto, West Virginia, has been visiting his relatives in the city for several days.

Mrs. Mattie BEAVERS, of Maxwell, Va. is at home visiting her mother, Mrs. J.F. RUDD.

Mr. W.E. FOWLER, President of the American National Bank, Graham, is at Hunter's Alum Springs.

T.H. KINZER and wife, Clear Fork passed through town on Monday on route to visit Mr. KINZER'S brother at Christiansburg, and a sister and friends near Galax, Va.

Mr. J.F. RUDD was at home a few days ago with a severe attack of rheumatism, but has recovered and returned to his work at Gary, West Virginia.

Attorney, V.L. SEXTON, Dr. L.J STUMP and others from Pocahontas, are at Grayson Springs, fishing and otherwise having a good time.

Circuit Court Clerk, T.E. GEORGE, is in Fauquiner County recreating at the home of his brother, H.A. GEORGE.

Hon. A.P. GILLESPIE is at New Oxford, Pa. combining business and pleasure.
