Mr. Pryor N. SMITH, of Lynchburg, is the guest of storekeeper WARE, this week.

Mr. and Mrs. Fred C. VANDORAN have as their guest, Mrs. Harry VANDORAN and Mr. W.C. VANDORAN, of Pulaski.

Miss Bertha S. COX is in Chilhowie, the guest of Mrs. SAUNDERS.

Mrs. J.B. CARPENTER is on a visit to her parents in Wilkesbarre, Pa.

Mr. and Mrs. W. Luther MUSTARD have as their guest Mr. and Mrs. J.C. BARNES of Tazewell County.

Miss Ella RICHARDSON has resigned her position with W.H. HICKS, the Photographer.

Mrs. B.F. PROECT, who lived here for a number of years, and has been at her old home in Ashland Kentucky, returned today and will open a music class at once.
