Miss Stella STEELE visited at Mr. John WARDS's Saturday and Sunday.

Mr. Clint ASCURE, of Paint Lick, was in the burg last Saturday.

Mrs. Mary RICHARDSON died Saturday night of pneumonia. Funeral service was conducted on Monday by Rev. J.R. KING. She leaves a husband and six children.

Mr. H.W. STEELE is visiting relatives here now. He has just returned from Roanoke, where he purchased a fine farm six miles from that city.

Mr. A.W. GRIFFITTS and Miss Tracie R. SPARKS were married at the home of the brides parents, near Hankins, on last Thursday at three o'clock. The happy couple have the good wishes of us all.

D.L. COX, Complainant Vs. T.B. SPARKS, Jackson REED and Lottie REED, his wife, Defendants.

The object of this suit is to attach and subject to the payment of a debt due to the complainant from the defendant, T.B. SPARKS, for the sum of $37.17 with interest thereon from December 28th, 1905, until paid, a tract of eleven acres, more or less, of land belonging to the said T.B. SPARKS, on Panther Branch of Indian Creek in Tazewell Co., Virginia. And an affidavit having been made and filed that the defendant, T.B. SPARKS is not a residence of the state of Virginia. It is ordered that he appear here within fifteen days after due publication hereof, and do what may be necessary to protect his interest in this suit. And it is further ordered that a copy hereof be published once a week for four successive weeks in the Clinch Valley News, a weekly newspaper published at Tazewell Virginia, and that a copy be filed at the front door of the Court House of the County as prescribed by law.
