BANDY & TIP TOP

Bandy - We understand that we are going to have a new store at this place. Beaver Brothers are trying to rent the Henkle and Payne property. We are buying goods very cheap from Young Brother's but think when our new store goes up, goods will be given away.

Sunday School every Sunday at the school house at 3:30 PM. we are going to have a new superintendent, Miss Ella YOUNG. Teachers, Mr. Jim LAMBERT, Miss Sallie and Mr. Guss PAYNE.

Mr. G. LAMBERT returned from Dry Fork last Saturday. He says he is going to fight the farm.

R.G. YOUNG has returned from his trip to Cincinnati. He said he had a fine time on his vacation.

Miss Julia PAYNE was visiting her sister Tuesday, Mrs. Amanda YOUNG.

Mr. W.P. PAYNE, one of the biggest farmers we have here is getting along nicely with his work.

Tip Top - Through mistake, the names of my students receiving honors during the term failed to reach the News office last week. Viz: Misses Gracie BELCHER, Fannie COMPTON, Minnie KINZER, Rockey NEAL, Winnie LEFFEL, Messrs Arthur LEFFEL, Earl PRUITT, all the students deserved to be commended for good and faithful work during the term. These brave "little workers" have my very best wishes for the next term. Many thanks to all the patrons that rendered me assistance during the year. I have often heard of the hospitality of the Clear Fork people, and realized how good and kind they were last winter. Success and best wishes to them all. Miss Etta HARMAN, Teacher.
