LOCAL TAZEWELL
                

C.H. REYNOLDS has purchased the farm of H.G. PEERY, on the west side of town, consisting of about 300 acres for $45,000. Geo. R. SURFACE also purchased the farm formerly owned by Dr. O'KEEFFE, for $15,000.

Mr. R.K. GILLESPIE, of Pounding Mill, had his foot so badly cut and mangled on last Wednesday - by a mowing machine, that the foot had to be amputated.

John BUFFALO, who lives near Tip Top, was killed by falling slate in the mines at Boissevain, last Friday.
