Professor EAGLE, of Dalton, Ga., will teach a normal singing school here, beginning on Wednesday, the 27th. He will teach twenty days and twelve nights. Tuition is two dollars a session.

Mr. Winfred PETTLE of Pocahontas, was visiting his aunt, Mrs. D.W. KIRTNER Sunday.

Mr. J.C. NUTTLE, of Bristol was here on business a few days this week.

George BENSON returned to his home here last week from Touranet, Indiana, where he has been working.

There was a large crowd attended the singing here Sunday despite the fact that it is raining and a very disagreeable day.

W.B. TABOR made a business trip to Northfork yesterday.

Dr. J.M. SHEPPARD and H. HARRY made a business trip to Bluefield Monday.

Mr. J.W. MOSES moved his family to Bramwell last week. Their departure is regretted very much.

Miss Jennie MULLIN, daughter of the late Austin MULLIN, died at the old place Saturday. Miss MULLIN was a young lady of high Christian ability. She was highly esteemed among her many friends. The people around, for miles, extend their warmest sympathy to the bereaved family. The remains were interred in the Mullin cemetery near here on Monday.
