ADA & BRAMWELL

Ada - We are still having lots of winder here now.

Garfield, the little son of Mr. and Mrs. W.R. RANSEY, is very sick at this writing.

Mrs. W.C. NEAL, who was mentioned in the last issue, is some better. She has been confined to her home for three months.

Mr. Prelinia WORLEY died Jan, 31, 1912. She was the mother of five children, three of whom preceded her to the better land. She was one hundred and six years old, one of the oldest citizens in our country. She was laid to rest Feb. 2 in the Stowers cemetery. She spent her last days with her younger son, Mr. Izar WORLEY.

Since the meeting closed, which was held by Rev. CARNER, this place seems very lonesome for the youngsters.

Mrs. Jocie THOMPSON died at her home near Ada, Jan. 26. She leaves a husband and two little children to mourn her loss.

Bramwell - Cards were send out Tuesday announcing the marriage of Jonathan BOWEN, of Bramwell, to Miss Florence Lillian STANGER, of Coopers. The announcement came as a complete surprise to the friends of the young people, it being said that the families were not taken into the confidence of the young people until very recently. The ceremony was performed at Louisville on the 28th of last November, but was kept secret by the contracting parties. On their return to this section the groom went to his home, while the bride went to her home and no one even suspected that they had been married. The cards announcing the marriage were sent out by the young couple and were mailed from Coopers. They are now in the east where they will remain for some time, but they will make their home in Bramwell. The groom who is the son of Harry BOWEN, is especially well known, while the bride has a large circle of friends in the neighborhood where she lives. She is a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. T. E. STANGER.
