sustained injuries Sunday when she was thrown from a buggy, when the horses became
frightened at a bicycle. Her two children were uninjured.
A.H. STEELE, Tazewell county boy, has accepted position with Carbon Coal
Company at Carbon WV.

CARTER, aged 36, died at his home near Springville, on last Thursday, of heart
disease. He is survived by his mother, four brothers and four sisters.
