COALDAN

J.A. LOWE is hauling lumber up the mountain and says the new road is about two feet under the old one.

Jack BREWSTER is faithful to his job, as he comes every day.

John O'BRYNE'S little son, Laird, has been very sick with bronchitis, but is better.

A child has recently come to the home of Mr. and Mrs. Green BROOKS.

Mr. G.W. ST. CLAIR of Tazewell was up at Jewell Ridge on business this week.

J.S. HORTON is home from Honaker.

We would like to see some of the good roads there has been much talk about. The mud is knee deep everywhere.

Mr. S.E. BROOKS, who intended moving to West Virginia has changed his mind and will remain here for the present.
