The C. W. T. U. will meet on next Thursday afternoon at Mrs. W. B. HARRIS'. A large delegation and several new members are hoped for.

The Junior Missionary Band met just after Sunday school Sunday with a good attendance, and interesting meeting.

Mrs. Mattie BREWSTER (nee: Mattie Earls) made a business trip to Richlands today.

Miss Nora HANKINS, Raven, is spending some time here as the guest of Mrs. M. J. STURGILL.

Messrs Charles and Tom ROBINETTE spent Saturday night and Sunday with their parents, Mr. and Mrs. John ROBINETTE.

Mrs. Joseph SMITH and sister, Mrs. Sam WARD, and little daughters, Rosa Lee and Clara Lee, respectively, are visiting relatives in Bluefield this week.

Rev. G. R. THOMAS attended preaching at the Church of God at Maxwell on Sunday. By Rev. G. P TASHER. Rev. TASHER also preached a fine sermon at Richlands Sunday night on Foreign Missions, he having been a missionary.

A.J. CRUEY and son, Charles, of Cedar Bluff, are putting acetylene lights in W. B. STEELE'S residence this week. He is using a fifty-pound generator and eighteen drops. He lighted Mr. and Mrs. DRAPER'S home at Richlands last week.

Mr. Jack PRUETT, Stonega, and father, W.R. PRUETT, Shrader visited their sister and daughter, Mrs. J.T. ALTIZER Sunday night.

O. FERRELL and Mr. STEPHENSON, Steelsburg, are putting on the yard here a number of fine logs.

Bartlett PRUETT is home on vacation.
