GRATTON
                

The farmers are very busy making hay while the sun shines.

Rev. W.W. HICKS will preach at Concord on Sunday morning on account of the Children's Day exercises to be held at Mt. Oliver Sunday afternoon.

J.H. and Fogleman YOST were visiting homefolks Saturday and Sunday.

Mr. and Mrs. R.C. COOPER returned to their home the first of the week after a 3 weeks visit with homefolks.

Rev. Mr. ARROWOOD delivered a most excellent sermon at Concord last Sunday.

J.H. CARBAUGH and Willie BOURNE were visiting homefolks Sunday.

Mrs. Hallie BOURNE is visiting homefolks at this place, accompanied by her brother, R.H. GILPIN.

Mr. M.E. FRALEY our former teacher of 5 years ago, was visiting friends at this place Saturday and Sunday.

E.C. MCFARLAND left Wednesday for Eggleston where he will probably be 3 or 4 years.

Miss Mary NIDERMAIR who has been visiting her sister in Wisconsin returned to her home Tuesday.

Born to Mr. and Mrs. Will COX, a boy. This is the seventh child and the only boy. Mr. COX  has a smile from ear to ear, and it won't rub off.
