Virginia, the little seven months baby of Mr. and Mrs. John PRUETT is very ill, from indigestion at the home of its grand parents, Mr. and Mrs. H.W. CHIRSTIAN.

Mr. and Mrs. Thomas ROBINETT have returned from their wedding trip and are guests of their parents, Mr. and Mrs. John ROBINETT.

Miss Margaret HURT left Saturday for West Virginia. She teachers near Bethany. Her sister, Miss Barbara and brother J.R. HURT left on No. 6 last night for Bethany, College, Bethany, West Virginia.

H.G. and R.F. GILLESPIE have returned to their respective schools.

Miss Florence HARRIS left last week for her school in Newport News. Her mother, Mrs. W.B. HARRIS accompanied her as far as Bluefield and spent the night. 

W.R. SPARKS and W. THOMAS spent Sunday night in Richlands.

Rev. James GRAHAM, of the M.E. CHURCH preached here Sunday night. He has charge of this work and was here as the guest of his sister, Mrs. H.W. CHRISTIAN.

The following persons ate new year's dinner with their relatives Mr. and Mrs. W.B. STEELE and family, viz: Mrs. J. Marion MCGUIRE and daughter, Miss Pearl, and grandson James MCGUIRE, Jr. Mr. and Mrs. C.F. FIELDs, and baby, Mary Virginia, of Cedar Bluff, Mr. and Mrs. M.M. HANKINS, of Richlands.

Mr. CRAIG, of Boxley Quary, has returned from the Eastern part of the State where he joined his wife and children through the holidays.
