On Wednesday of last week, Mr. and Mrs. Robert
TARTER celebrated their fiftieth wedding
anniversary.
Mr. Charles SCOTT, 84 years of age, a well-known citizen of Thompson Valley, died at his
home last Sunday. During the Civil War he was a member of the 45th Regiment, commanded by
Colonel BROWNE, Stonewall Brigade.
