GENERAL NEWS

Miss Margaret WOLSTON, of Galveston, Texas, is spending the Christmas holidays with Misses Annie and Leosch LITZ.

Miss Mariam BUCHANAN, who has been attending Hood College, Frederick, Md. returned to her home this week for the holidays.

Col. William C. PENDLETON, of Marion, is here on a visit to his daughter, Mrs. Glen ST. CLAIR.

Mr. and Mrs. Walter THOMPSON were shopping in Bluefield one day this week.

Misses Reba and Kate JOHNSON, students at Farmville Normal, reached their home here Wednesday night for the holidays.

Mr. Sam LEECE, who has been working at South Clinchfield, is at his home here, waiting for business to get back to normalcy.

Miss Lucille BUCHANAN will spend the Christmas holidays with Miss PEARCE, in Norton.

Capt. J.D. ALEXANDER, Lebanon, was a visitor to this town on Monday.

Rev. A.S. ULM left Tuesday for Georgia, where he will spend Christmas with his parents, Mrs. ULM also will spend Christmas with her daughter, in Ducktown, Tenn.

Mr. Charlie JONES who has been in Florida for several months, has returned to his home. He will not return to Florida after Christmas. He says Florida is alright but Virginia is better.

George BUSTON, a student at V.P.I is at home for the holidays.
