RICHLANDS
                

Robert REPASS, son of Mrs. George BROWN, was discharged from the local hospital Saturday, after undergoing an operation for appendicitis some two weeks ago.

Prohibition officers, MCGRAW and MCGLOTHLIN, captured another still on Friday near Bear Wallow, they also got ten gallons of corn whiskey. These officers have captured 95 stills since they took the work over in April.

Dr. W. R. WILLIAMS, wife and daughter, Miss Mary, spent the weekend in Richmond as the guest of their sons.

Mrs. Eli GRIFFITH continues to be very ill at her home on Tazewell St.

E. K. HURT was slightly injured on Monday evening, when his car skidded on the slippery road near Cedar Bluff into the Cliff.

P. B. STEELE, manager for the A & P store here, was called to Belfast Tuesday on account of the death of his grandfather, B. F. BUNDY.

R.E. DUFF and Mr. and Mrs. I. T. JESSEE motored to Bluefield Sunday where they heard the U.S. Band.

J. B. CRABTREE was a business visitor to Tazewell Tuesday.

Huffard PRUITT spent Saturday and Sunday with relatives in Pounding Mill.

M. GREENBURG left Sunday night for Richmond to attend the Masonic Lodge, which is to be held there on Tuesday. On Thursday he will go to Philadelphia to spend a few weeks vacation with his nieces and nephews, also while away he will visit the northern markets.
