RICHLANDS
                

Allen JOHNSON, who was injured two weeks ago while working with the telephone company near Richlands, is still a patient in the Mattie Williams Hospital, and is getting along nicely.

Mrs. Eli GRIFFITH continues to be very ill at her home on Tazewell St.

Mr. and Mrs. H.V. LINDSEY and children were guests of friends at Rural Retreat over the weekend.

Mrs. Grover MARSHALL, who under went an operation at the Mattie Williams hospital last week, is getting along nicely.

Booney CASEY, age 90 years, died at his home at Raven Monday night, from complicated troubles, due to old age. Funeral was held at the home today at one o'clock and interment in the Ball Cemetery. He is survived by his wife and several children. He was the step father of Mrs. John JOYCE of this place.
