Mr. and Mrs. James CHILDRESS, of Horton Ridge, near here announce the marriage of their daughter, Hettie Mae, to Mr. John H. HORTON, on Saturday, November 5, 1932 in the office of Excelsion Red Ash Coal company here. The ceremony was performed by Rev. John ABSHER, of Red Ash. the groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. William HORTON of near here. The marriage came as a complete surprise to the popular couples many friends.

Robert P., Jr. small son of Mr. and Mrs. Robert MCGRAW, of near here, died at the home of his parents early Sunday morning. The child had been in failing health for several months, spending a large portion of the time in the Mattie Williams hospital, in Richlands and had to consume food through a tube inserted within it's throat and death was attributed to suffocation due to a cold closing the small opening of the throat. He is survived by mother and several brothers. Mr. MCGRAW preceded the child to the grave several months ago. Interment was made in the Hankins cemetery in Richlands, Monday afternoon.

A holiness revival campaign, under the supervision of Rev. A.J. KENNEDY, of Coeburn, assisted by his brother, Rev. A.M. KENNEDY, pastor of the Red Ash church, also of Coeburn, has been in progress for the past two weeks and is doing splendid work in this church. A large number of converts are expected during the campaign.

George DRAPER, principal of Red Root Ridge School, recently moved into a new rock dwelling house, nearing completion on the Raven to Grundy highway near the home of his father, J.J. DRAPER.

John M. WHITE, George DRAPER and Pascal BLANKENSHIP attended the Emory Marshall football game in Bluefield, Saturday.
