A.W. TESTER and brother, Ballard TESTER, brothers, said to be from Buchanan County, came to grief at North Tazewell Monday when they ran afoul of the law, and had their car stopped and searched by North Tazewell's policeman, Henry
PHILLIPS. Acting on a tip, PHILLIPS stopped the car and upon searched found 22 half gallon fruit jars filled with Buchanan County mountain dew. The two men, upon being caught, made no effort to run and they put up no
excuse whatever, but surrendered quietly and peacefully. Mayor b, of North Tazewell, issued warrants for the Buchanan citizens, charging them with unlawful possession and transporting of ardent spirits. Both men were resting quietly in the city
bastilles at last reports, and on September 6th, will tell Mayor BEAVERS all about it.
